SOME STATEMENTS FROM THE LISTENERS

Radio Veritas Asia is winning the hearts of its Listeners. We are proud to say the management of RVA Urdu Service is helping a lot to create a peaceful society in the respective areas of the Listeners. 

Our old and regular listener writes from Dhaka Cantonment, Bangladesh that “I am Mostofa Kamal , 38-years old. I have been serving in the Bangladesh Air Force as an aeronautical engineer since I was 18. My rank is Sergeant. I started listening to the radio when I was 8 years old. I have been listening to you since 1987 and now, your station has gradually become a part of my daily life. Every day I try to listen you by Radio or internet. Now my wife ‘Mrs. Purnima Jahan Shikha’ is also listening to your informative, educational and enjoyable program regularly. My two sons ‘Mostofa Tazwar Shaad’ -age 5 years and ‘Mostofa Tahsan Sadee’ -age 2 years also listen to Radio with me and they can operate Computer and net browsing. I think they will be your valuable listeners tomorrow”.


 

Rana Farooq from Rajput Listeners and Writing Club of Bahawalnagar, Pakistan wrote in the recent letter that he wishes to say that all the program of RVA Urdu Service are informative, formative and effective. Each word from the hosts penetrates in the hearts of the listeners. He further writes that among all the programs he likes the program Aap Ki Mehil (containing writings, poems and jokes) of the listeners. In order to listen to these programs he has installed the internet. He appreciated the 22nd March visit of the RVA Director Fr. Nadeem John Shakir, reception monitor Hadayat Nazr and producer Francis Xavier in Bahawalnagar.


 

Sajid Arshad Numbardar from Patoki, Kasur Pakistan wrote in his letter that his club Azad Radio Listener’s Club is listening to the RVA Urdu Service from 1994. Inspired by the program of human integral development, they have started Hanjra Welfare Organization through which they opened a school for boys and girls and one teacher teaches to about 30 students and they provide salary, books, uniforms and modest furniture. Besides that by listening to the regular program Umeed Ki Kiran (Ray of Hope) they have started the vocational center, sewing center and provide free medical assistance due to the regular program Hamari Sehat (Our health. Hence they have integrated the RVA programs in their day today life and show love and concern to promote the message of peace in their locality.

 

The majority of our listeners are Muslims (almost 90%) and they appreciate a lot the truth which works without making any discrimination on the basis of sex, creed, color or religion and on which has brought positive changes in their lives.
