Report of the “10th RVA Urdu Listeners’ Conference-2009”

The management of Radio Veritas Asia Urdu Service held the “10th RVA Urdu Listeners’ Conference-2009” on 11th October 2009 at Loyola Hall (28-Warris Road) Lahore-Pakistan. His Grace Archbishop Lawrence Saldanha (Chairman, National Catholic Commission for Social Communications Pakistan) was the Chief Guest and Fr. Gabriel Htun Myint (Assistant Programme Director of Radio Veritas Asia Manila) was the Guest of Honour at the conference. There was another special participation of Fr. Robin Bashir (Coordinator, RVA Urdu Service Manila). Along with them and the staff there were about 170 participants including the Christians & Muslims males and females listeners who had come from different areas of Pakistan inclusive of all four provinces of the country (Punjab, NWFP, Sindh and Balochistan).
